We understand the value of a memory or a prized possession and as such we always strive to treat what you bring into our shop with the utmost respect and frame accordingly. We use conservation framing methods ensuring the piece can always be taken out undamaged of the framing package if necessary.  Our framers are trained in conservation framing techniques and we use state of the art tools and materials. 

A mat is not just something to hold down your artwork - it serves to protect, hide hinging methods and enhance your piece all the same time. We have over 500 mat styles to choose from - archival quality and budget friendly paper mats, textured, fabrics and suedes. Additionally we also offer hand decorated mats using an old time technique called "French Matting". Head on over to our blog page to read more about this service and see some beautiful examples.

Yes, we fame and cut custom size mirrors! Along the regular 1/8 or 1/4 thick mirrors we also offer antique surface mirrors with several styles to choose from. Due to space and transportation restrictions we keep the sizes we do in house to 36x48. For sizes bigger than that we are happy to refer you to a fantastic local mirror vendor.

We understand that accidents happen and you might want to try to fix your favorite frame. We are pretty good at repairing most frames but some frames may not be fixable due to the nature of the finish or the level of damage. We do our best to return the frame as close to its original state as possible but we cannot guarantee that in all cases. Wood frames are different than plastic frames - those cannot be fixed usually. If you have a broken frame please bring it in so we can evaluate if it's fixable or not.
